The expanded partnership includes shared fare offerings, an increase in codeshare routes, and reciprocal lounge access for frequent flyer program members. By allowing passengers to book flights operated by both airlines on a single itinerary, the airlines are simplifying the booking process and offering a wider range of fare options, catering to the evolving demands of modern travelers.
Garuda Indonesia customers will gain access to four new destinations previously served by Singapore Airlines, including Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Delhi in India, as well as Male in the Maldives. In return, Singapore Airlines passengers will have the opportunity to connect to key Garuda Indonesia routes, enhancing travel options for both sets of customers.
Members of GarudaMiles and KrisFlyer frequent flyer programs will enjoy reciprocal lounge access, allowing them to relax in premium lounges when traveling between Singapore and key Indonesian cities. This added benefit, part of the broader frequent flyer partnership launched in February 2025, aims to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Furthermore, the airlines are expanding their codeshare network to include routes between Singapore and Denpasar, Jakarta, and Surabaya in Indonesia, as well as flights to London (Heathrow) and Mumbai.
