SEA FREIGHT

SERVICES

The World Baggage Sea Freight Service provides an economical solution for larger shipments such as home or country relocations, as sea freight is generally more cost effective for shipments over 120kgs.

This service is best if you want to save money on larger shipments of personal effects or are not in such a hurry to receive your items, as it does take a little longer than air freight.

  • Pay any/all "Destination Terminal Charges" (see guide below).
  • Process through Customs^.
  • Collect your shipment from the cargo terminal.

If you use the services of a customs agent, to process your consignment through customs at the destination on your behalf, rather than processing yourself, you would expect to pay their professional service fees. Customs clearance is not included in a sea freight service terminating upon arrival at the port.

^Customs will assess your consignment to determine if there are any Duties or Taxes applicable and/or if you are entitled to any Duty and Tax concessions. All inland destinations must be customs cleared at the port of discharge.
